Burpy offers grocery delivery services in United States. It is an online and mobile app grocery ordering service that works really simple. Just shop groceries and home essentials from your favorite local stores using the website or mobile app. Burpy than routes your order to a vetted personal shopper who collects your items and delivers to you in as little as one hour. Burpy was founded by a group of young talented minds in Austin, Texas and in just a span of over a year, they have expanded to four of the major cities in Texas and growing.
The
Challenge
Burpy had established well and were looking for next level of mobile app experience that would offer their customers a streamline and easy grocery shopping and ordering process. Burpy didn’t had in-house app design and development team and so they approached us for the same. They were looking for reliable partner that could offer them the much needed high quality designs and better user experience work flow.

Solution
A clean beautiful app design with streamlined user experience for shopping groceries.
From beginning we new what would really work for a well user shopping experience. As a result we implemented clean and minimalist design style. Appropriate and easy navigation to the most desirable items and elements was our main goal. We also made the search and order feature easily accessible for the end users. The app had consistent flow and was designed for both iOS and Android. Check out some of the App screenshots below.

Elements
One of the important task of the project was to deliver a beautiful app iconography design and user experience. We designed over 50 custom icons and illustrations for the app. We also designed a creative welcome screens that guided the user about the shopping experience and how simple was it to use the app. We maintained design simplicity and minimalism across the app design. App also included modules like GPS Search, Zip Code Search, Rewards Program, Guided tour etc which required custom designed illustrations and graphics.
Before approaching Cleverkites for our mobile app design we had worked with a couple of agencies but none of them gave the results that were offered by Idris and his team. The final product was a delightful result of the hard work they put in our app and website design. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
